miniprojects
2018 Marx Generator V0
In 2018, during junior high, I built a Marx generator using cardboard, nails, wires, and handmade film capacitors up to 1.5m long. After many iterations, powered by a high-voltage generator, I successfully produced 1 cm electric arcs.

2019 Marx Generator V0.5
In 2019, I improved V0 and developed V0.5 by using better, thicker tape and creating larger capacitors. This prevented high-voltage breakdown and resulted in a significantly longer arc length.

2019 Marx Generator V1
At the end of 2019, I built a real Musk generator using high-voltage film capacitors and balanced resistors, optimizing the discharge setup. In the end, I achieved a stunning 12 cm arc but regretted not using a higher input voltage.

2025 PolyU-Job-Post-Enhanced
PolyU-Job-Post-Enhanced is a web project that crawls job posting data from the PolyU POSS website, processes and enhances the search functionality, and then displays the improved results on my website.
2025 RealTimeTranscribeAI
RealTimeTranscribeAI enhances the original Ecoute project by capturing audio streams and transcribing them in real time, and uses the Deepseek API to generate professional AI responses.model.

2024 Electromagnetic Auto-Aiming Toy Shooter
This award-winning project integrates Raspberry Pi (for AI vision tracking via I2C) and Arduino (for PID-controlled pan-tilt targeting). Its core innovation is a dual-stage electromagnetic launcher: Capacitors charge to 250V in 10s, then Bluetooth-triggered thyristors release 50A+ pulses through sequenced coils, using precise timing control to achieve magnetic projectile acceleration. The optimized coil activation interval significantly improves kinetic energy output compared to single-stage designs.

2025 AI-Powered Smart Auto-Aiming RC Toy Car with Turret
My project for the Innovative AI Applications EEE Contest 2024 is a mobile-controlled turret vehicle with AI integration. It features auto-targeting, real-time video streaming, GPT-4-powered interaction, and expressive movements for an engaging experience.
